Halloween is such a holiday when even the food on the table amuses and scares at the same time.
To make the process of preparing treats for the holiday fun and easy for the whole family, we have prepared some worthwhile recipes for you.
Any child can do this task.
You will need cheddar cheese, plain straws and a bunch of green onions. It is necessary to “shake up” a piece of cheese and tie this shaggy onion to the bottom of the straw with a bow.
Ready! It can be beautifully laid out on a plate.
Roasted Jack O’Lantern Peppers
For this creepy-looking dish, you will need:
- Bulgarian pepper — 6 pcs
- Chicken fillet — 0.5 kg
- Onion — 1 pc.
- Yogurt — 200 g
- Salt — to taste
- Spices — to taste
Ask your child to wash and dry the bell pepper. Carefully cut off the tops with tails, but do not throw them away — they will still be useful for caps.
Together with your child, cut out the eyes and mouth on the peppers, like a pumpkin. Onion must be cut and fried in a pan until light brown. Add diced fillet to it. When the chicken and onions are cooked, stuff the peppers with it.
Place a spoonful of yogurt on each pepper and cover with a lid. Have your child lay out the stuffed peppers on a baking sheet.
Send the peppers to the oven to bake for 15-20 minutes at a temperature of 190 degrees. Well, how did it get scary?
Pumpkin fritters in a web
To begin, ask the child to put on the table:
- Pumpkin pulp — 400 g
- Flour — 3/4 tbsp.
- Eggs — 2 pcs.
- Kefir — 0.5 tbsp.
- Sugar — 3 tablespoons
- Salt — to taste
- Cinnamon — a pinch
- Chocolate — 50 g
The pumpkin must be grated on a coarse grater and squeezed. Let the child add eggs, sugar, salt, cinnamon and kefir to the resulting pumpkin mass. Mix all this thoroughly. Then add flour and mix again.
Spoon the dough into a frying pan with heated vegetable oil and fry the pancakes on both sides.
Melt the chocolate and draw a chocolate «web» on each pancake.
Guests will be delighted!
Enjoy your meal!
