It is recommended to place a storage tank between the water supply and the irrigation system. The barrel should be installed at 0.5-1 meter from ground level, this will create the necessary pressure for the drip tape. At the same time, the water in the tank will be heated to a temperature comfortable for the plants. It will also allow you to add fertilizer to the water tank and when the main tap is opened, water with fertilizer is supplied directly to the roots of plants through a drip tape.
If necessary, you can set a timer for watering. With its help, set the optimal watering time and the duration of the water supply, so watering can be carried out in your absence according to a given algorithm.
When connecting a drip tape irrigation system directly to a high pressure water supply, it is recommended to use a pressure reducer that will reduce the water pressure before it is fed into the drip tape. Thus, you will protect the drip tape from ruptures associated with high water pressure.
To avoid clogging and silting of drip tape emitters, we recommend using a mesh or disc filter for irrigation with 120 mesh (130 microns) filtration. It will prevent contaminants from entering the tape.
Also, one of the most important conditions for the operation of the irrigation system is the correct distribution and laying of the drip tape.
