The main materials used for the production of the soles of IRIDIS children’s shoes are TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) and PU (polyurethane).

PU outsole is mainly used for warm season shoes. Polyurethane is a material with high porosity, which gives it the main plus for shoes — it’s lightness. The tread on the PU outsole does not have clear edges and is, as it were, slightly blurred. The polyurethane outsole has good cushioning, which is important for health. PU is quite wear-resistant material and will serve you for a long time.
An important point is that the type of sole corresponds to the purpose of the shoes made. What is a plus for summer shoes may not be suitable for winter.
